Ahhhhh! That song! I can't get it out of my head! I woke up the other night and realized that I was hearing it in my sleep. My wife caught me humming it the other day. If Vespa adopts this theme song, everyone will be humming it and buying a Vespa.

More Fun Facts!

Originally, the poster board scene was supposed to have Sam standing up and flipping and throwing the signs. However, it was quite windy that day and we had a hard time with the signs. So he just sat down and started flipping. Even then, it took 4 takes to get it right; and in one of the takes, one of the signs almost took my eye out. It was too funny to leave out so I've decided to include that one bit of outtake in the video!

*** MORE FUN FACTS! ***
The scenes where I was getting gas in my SUV were done at two different gas stations, each at two different gas pumps. There was a guy who approached just about everybody asking for spare change. When we got done at the first gas station, we started to shoot at the next gas station. A guy in a brand new large SUV, still with the dealer's registration paper taped on the windshield, drives up. The driver gets off and started to ask everyone for spare change. It was the same guy from the other gas station!!! Wow!

Anna, yes, I'm the videographer and the singer. I have to give credit to Dan and Sam for driving while the other operated the camera while I rode my Vespa. Sam is also the guy flipping the poster board signs! Steven and BJ are my coworkers who were at the bus stop scene.

Originally, the song only had a chorus and the rest were instrumental (as heard on my other video entry). I've decided to extend the arrangement and make it a full song. A few days later, I shot the music video. Why not cover all aspects of Vespanomics and enter it in the contest...I thought. So I did. I, with the help of Dan, Sam, Steven, and BJ, have created a Viral Video with my catchy original song that has been played numerous times from users who have embeded this video in their blogs, social networking sites, and personal homepages! (The second number in the Views count is the number of times it has been played outside of this website!)

The morning of the video shoot at the bus stop scene in downtown San Diego went pretty smooth despite numerous buses blocking the camera's shots. Just when we're about to shoot the extreme wide angle (from across the street), a bus would pull up and ruin the shot. CUT!!!! Take six! ACTION!!

I liked your other submission better, but a good effort, plus I really like your song "Downtown" it's got a ridiculously catchy hook with those horns. I must have listened to it 20 times today. It was also cool that your vespa was in that too.
